First edition, signed in pencil by Stanton to first blank thus: "Very sincerely, your friend, Frank L. Stanton. Cooley's Rift, July 24th 1895". Stock lightly toned, but otherwise all in VG internal order. Gilt to top edge of block. Variant binding with olive green boards decorated in two shades of gilt.
