Description
Volume made more interesting by signed letter from the author tipped in to front pastedown on British Museum letterhead. Newspaper obituary of Whitman pasted opposite. Bookplate of noted print expert and bibliographer Gavin Bridson also present. Internally stock is toned to page edges but otherwise, bar a very occasional spot, all is in good order. Bindings are a little shaken however and green cloth boards are much abused with significant wear at head of spine. Still a useful book however, limited to 500 copes thus and with an interesting provenance. 4to. 96pp + plates.
