In good internal order, with five plates and fold-out map as required. Stock a little toned with occasional spotting, but generally clean and bright. Dampstain to corner of frontispiece but this not replicated elsewhere. Two small closed tears to map and a little creasing, edgewear, etc. Signature of J Sweetser, Searsport, Maine to fep, likely Captain Jeremiah Sweetser. Bookplate of descendant Lincoln Colcord to front pastedown. Bound in well worn brown buckram, with blind embossed roundel to front stating Ship Store Royal Navy. Creasing to spine and wear to edges. A scarce volume with interesting provenance. 8vo. xxxii, 464pp
