Handsome two volume edition of the Life Of Cellini, with a biographical sketch by Symonds, and 40 tissue guarded plates. Roughcut pages toned to edges, but otherwise all in VG internal order. No inscriptions. Bookplate of Gertrude Hamilton to front pastedown, likely the wife of the grandson of Alexander Hamilton, Schuyler Hamilton. Bookplate sports the Hamilton motto Virigis et Fructifera. Gilt to top edge of block.
