Interesting exposition of the 23rd Psalm, attempting to place it in its geographical and historical context, with much on Palestinian shepherds, their customs, etc, as well as an analysis of the Biblical text. Colour frontispiece. Stock lightly toned, but otherwise all in VG internal order. Spidery inscription, dated Nov 15 1911, to front endpapers, difficult to decipher. Purple cloth rather blotchy, lightly worn to edges and faded to spine. This is a charity sale for Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 8vo. 88pp + publisher's list.
