Description
ND.c.1925. The first two volumes in Ward, Lock's 'Royal Series' of titles by "old favorite authors", both being in VG condition with VG dust jackets and scarce thus. Little Women (12mo, 255pp) has offset toning to endpapers, but is in otherwise VG internal order, clean and bright, with no inscriptions. Bookseller's small label to front pastedown. Blue cloth showing some shelfwear and featuring the 'sun and clouds' pattern used for this series. All the same points apply to Good Wives (256pp) which is uniform with this volume (without bookseller's label). Both d/js unclipped, lightly worn to edges and a little dulled to spine.
