Book club edition of novel first published by Hurst & Blackett a year earlier, featuring three generations of a slightly eccentric family sharing one house. Republished in 2021, but exceptionally scare in early editions like this, perhaps following a warm review on the excellent Furrowed Middlebrow blog. Toning to endpapers, but internally all is in VG+ clean and bright order. Pale blue boards a little mottled. VG unclipped d/j lightly worn to edges and now in removable protective sleeve. 12mo. 206pp
