Description
In which Sir Richard Hill attacks a rival candidate of his brother John, the sitting MP, in the forthcoming parliamentary election. The rival is a further relation, William Hill, for whose father, Lord Berwick, John was executor. The dispute arises from a claim made by William that John will stand aside for him as MP. There follows the public washing of an extraordinary amount of family dirty linen. This is the second, expanded edition, with further correspondence. Stock is toned to page edges, moreso to title, but otherwise in very good internal order. Bound in more modern plain paper-covered boards, a little marked but lightly worn, with paper title label to spine. 8vo. 4, 49pp
