Description
ND. Gift inscription dated 1920. Though this is the illustrated edition, there is in fact only one illustration, a fairly amateurish colour frontispiece by Francis E Hiley. Thereafter all is in VG, clean and bright internal order. Inscription to fep and plate to front pastedown noting that this copy is from the Sotheby's Chatsworth Attic Sale of October 2010. Chief interest is in the decorated boards, lightly worn and a little marked. Would make ideal gift for a young acrobat called Darcy. 12mo. 124pp + publisher's ads.
