Brown boards have embossed details to front and rear, with blue, black and gilt designs to front; titling to spine is bordered in dulled gilt. However boards are gradually detaching from spine, moreso to rear. Best regarded as a reading copy, if you want to read about what now seems a rather eclectic collection of imitable worthies (Doddridge, Bellot, Caxton, Dollond, Mogridge, Bewick, Linnaeus, Paley, Locke, Wilson, Drew and Clarke).
