Description
Authoritative history of the village of Gayton, Norfolk, written by its vicar and with a frontispiece showing a sketch of the view from the vicarage window. Internally there is some toning, rather more spotting and marking, but for the most part all is in fair to good order. Prelims are worn and more marked. Ownership inscriptions to first blank. Review from 'The Lynn News' of November 2nd 1889 is tipped in to front pastedown. Boards heavily marked and well worn, rebacked with gilt-titled grey buckram. Scarce in any order. 8vo, xiii, xiv, 267pp
