Description
Interesting collection of Japanese stories and articles from Martyr, some inspired directly by Japanese folk tales and poetry, and others from his own observations. Pleasingly presented with red-printed graphic devices to introduce each item, gilt to top edge of block and pages roughcut to other two edges. Foxing early and late, sometimes quite heavy, but otherwise in good internal order. No inscriptions. Beige paper covered boards, worn to corners and marked, with cloth to spine, this worn at head. Paper labels to front and spine, with 'as new' spares tipped in to rear of volume. 8vo. x. 228pp
