ND. c.1900. Scott's 1816 novel, here in an edition by the notorious publishing and book selling fraudster Richard Edward King. Printed on poor quality stock which is well toned, but otherwise apart from occasional wear, all in good internal order. Plate to front pastedown notes that this copy was included in the Sotheby's Chatsworth House Attic Sale of October 2010, and the name 'Duke Of Devonshire' is written in pencil to fep Decorated boards are lightly worn and marked, faded to spine and a little bumped. 12mo. 436pp
