Description
Vachell's novel of contemporary life at Harrow School is ably adorned by Wadham's illustrations, not least the striking frontispiece. Occasional spotting and marking but for the most part all in good internal order. Former owner's name neatly to fep and plate to front pastedown notes that this copy was included in the Sotheby's Chatsworth Attic Sale of October 2010. Decorated blue boards are worn to edges and a little bumped and marked, with fading to spine. 8vo. 319pp + publisher's ads
