Description
A re-working of Lister's 1955 Fit For A Bishop volume, with much additional content. Food and drink examined with "sober wisdom, barbed wit, wry humour, held together by the mortar of good taste". Some light marking to edge of block, but otherwise all in VG+, clean and bright internal order. No inscriptions. Light wear only to smart green boards with bright gilt-on-red titling to spine. Upper board leads a little. G- unclipped d/j, worn to edges, with some closed tears and small losses, but enhanced by presence of removable protective sleeve. 8vo. [8] 176pp
