Fascinating book that has been in the ownership of at least two noted London historians. A City of London Corporation Library Committee plate to front pastedown notes gift to or from Sir Laurence Gomme (1853-1916), while small signature on title page is that of Eliza Jeffries Davis (1875-1943). Stock lightly toned but otherwise all in VG internal order. Various folding charts. Endpapers split at hinges but all holding firm. Semi-stiff cloth-covered boards with bright gilt titling, worn to edges and faded/creased to spine. 8vo, xi. 200pp
