First thus, no date, but published in 'Festival Of Britain year' (ie. 1951) according to d/j, and made up of a series of articles on Jewish life in the East End of London which appeared in the Jewish Chronicle during 1948. Well illustrated with photos and the author's own drawings, capturing the East End in transition and fascinating thus. Bar offset toning to endpapers, all in VG clean and bright internal order. Light wear to paper covered boards with quarter blue cloth, faded to extremities. Good unclipped d/j, worn to edges with some closed tears, dulled to spine and marked to rear. An excellent read for anyone interested in this vibrant part of London. 8vo. x. 108pp
