Description
A copy of the 1928 printing of the traditional presentation gift to Eton's leavers, signed and inscribed by the headmaster at the time of presentation (1935) Claude Elliott. This edition more elaborate than some later printings, with vellum binding and two colour title page. Spotting to endpapers, heavy to rear, and to edges of roughcut pages, but otherwise only occasional outbreaks internally. Gilt to upper edge of block. Vellum covered boards with gilt Eton crest to upper board, are toned and a little grubby, with red ink mark present. Boards are also a little sprung. 4to. 87pp
