First US edition. Signed by Green to title page and inscribed by him to front pastedown as a gift to the library of St James. A very faint stamp to title page suggests this is St James Church, Roanoak, Virginia. Seemingly unissued as date sheet to rear is unstamped. Other library paraphernalia to rear. Some underlining in early chapters, but otherwise all in good internal order. Grey boards marked to front, with accession number to spine. Best regarded thus as a signed reading copy.
