Exceptionally scarce crime novel by Pertwee (father of Jon) and noted screenwriter Turner. Originally published in four parts in the London Evening News and then as a novel in 1932. Original black cloth boards are marked at fore edges and volume doesn't sit quite square. Light foxing throughout internally. This is a charity sale on behalf of Friends of Morston Church (reg.1099831).
