ND. c.1872. The first volume of the 12-strong Dicks' British Drama series collecting notable plays. 21 titles included here [see contents page] and all in generally good internal order, with just occasional spotting. Name neatly in pencil to fep, dated 1889, and plate to front pastedown noting that this copy was included in the Sotheby's Chatsworth House Attic Sale of October 2010. Rated 'fair' to reflect split endpapers and slight shakiness of bindings and heavy wear to paper-covered boards. Nice to see the original presentation, nevertheless. 12mo. 320pp
