Description
This translation is based on Henri Martineau's edition of Promenades dans Rome and provides an excellent, well illustrated and entertaining companion for anyone wishing to explore Rome . Block is in VG internal order with toning only to endpapers and exterior with some light dust spotting to top of block. 'Roma 1971' inscribed to FEP. Green boards a little shaken, with gilt titling and worn, white rectangle to front with gilt crest inside. Spine heavily faded and worn. Perhaps best regarded as a good reading/travelling copy. 8vo. xx. 285pp
